My name is Jim Broome.

I am currently a Principal Security Consultant at Accuvant, one of the largest and most well respected security solution providers in the country. I live in Littleton, CO. I have been in IT and Infosec since 1990.

Along the way I’ve been forced to take the following security related certifications: CISSP, CheckPoint CCSA/CCSE/CCSI, ISS Certified Engineer/Instructor, and several more.

I say forced mainly because my wife and I were 2 of the 3 primary authors for CheckPoint’s CCSA/E/I program from 2.x-4.x, ISS Certified Engineer, RSA SecureID Admins class, and others .

This blog will range on topics from general geekdom, family, security, and weather… ya never know what might come up! Feel free to leave comments and tell me how full of it I am.

PS – keep the site friendly – any flames and such will be deleted.
